From this Saturday until early August, I will be on an adventure. An Adventure into my own mind, so to speak.

I'm going to Wisconsin to study Chinese.

For 9 Weeks I'll be working to improve my Chinese reading, speaking, writing and listening skills to a higher level of fluency. Of course, this intensive study is going to totally shit on my Japanese skills come Fall semester, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I'm hoping that the instructors and the classmates I'll have will be cool, otherwise it won't be an enjoyable 9 weeks. Hopefully after all this work, I'll be prepared for my Comprehensive Exams come Winter (I may even try to take them when I return in the Fall, but who knows if they'll let me.) I'll have my Computer and my DS, so I'll still be able to do things and play Pokemon. Hooray!

Also, I bought a Roomba for when I get back to Eckerd. That way I don't have to do any excessive cleaning or anything. Double hooray!

Saw PotC3 today, it was pretty good. Especially considering it was a Pirate movie and entirely lacking in Ninjas. The sad thing was that my sister (who had seen this movie previously) said there were ninjas and I naively believed her. SHE LIED. Regardless, a good movie overall. A good summer one atleast.

Pokemon is taking up alot of time as I begin to EV train a few of my Pokemon, starting with Jolteon (I needed a decent Electric type). I'm trying to get the Macho Brace so the process goes a bit faster. Thanks to Katt, I can get what I need over the GTS by breeding Spiritombs. To think that my friends actually went through the whole process to obtain one, when I was just given it. Hilarious.
